This textile is known as a vintage Mexican Serape Saltillo Ranch Blanket. We deconstructed a denim jacket to add sleeves, pockets, and a collar to this quilt. The opening was created by two corners of the blanket and aligned with the border of the blanket in the back.
This piece is in good condition, with no tears or snags throughout the jacket. This is a light to medium-weight jacket.
